Audition Information
The Anglican Singers invites singers
in all voice parts, including Trebles, to audition for our
2008- 2009 Season.
We especially welcome committed,
young singers as Trebles. The Anglican Singers
provide a mentored opportunity for young singers to extend their music skills
and to become acquainted with the choral repertoire of the
English tradition.
Auditions are
by appointment only
and
comprise
a
straightforward evaluation of musicality, voice quality, range,
and basic sight-reading. Singers should select a short piece
(or portion of a piece), preferably from the classical choral
repertoire, and be prepared to sing it in their own vocal range.
An extra copy of your selection will be required in advance
of the audition. All auditions will be accompanied.
Individuals interested in auditioning for The Anglican Singers
should call 860.705.3037 or
